Volvo Gold Contract

Terms and Conditions

 

* Offer valid from 1st July 2020 to 31st December 2020.

** Contract based on 80,000kms per annum, predominantly flat smooth road conditions, mixed on/off road construction applications.

If you have selected Gold in the Agreement Schedule and you comply with your obligations under this Agreement we will:

9.1.1 carry out operator’s licence inspections at the frequency specified in the Agreement Schedule;

9.1.2 service the Goods at the intervals specified in the Agreement Schedule or as laid down by Volvo Truck Corporation;

9.1.3 carry out an annual steam clean of the Goods;

9.1.4 present the Goods for their annual MOT inspection and pay the test fee;

9.1.5 carry out any repairs that are required to return the Goods to good order and running condition within our responsibilities under this Agreement;

9.1.6 carry out biennial tachograph checks and full calibration at 6 years; and

9.1.7 if the Goods are within mainland UK or Northern Ireland and suffer a roadside breakdown or a failure to start that is caused by a fault that we are required to repair under the terms of this Agreement then:-

9.1.7.1 we will attend the breakdown if the Goods cannot be moved; and

9.1.7.2 we will pay the cost of moving the Goods to our nearest approved workshop if we cannot repair them where they broke down; and provided that you make the Goods available at our authorised supplier’s premises (except in the case of 9.1.7) above).

 

*** Exclusions apply - the following are excluded and it is your responsibility to pay for or perform any repair or maintenance on:

9.2.1 tyres or their replacement unless specified in the Agreement Schedule;

9.2.2 all paintwork, bodywork, interior trim, upholstery, dash panels, steering wheel,

bunks and curtains, emblems, upholstery, and glass (including seals);

9.2.3 all superstructure and accessories unless specifically included in the Agreement

Schedule. Accessories are defined as any items not included in the basic

specification of the Goods;

9.2.4 washing the Goods, except prior to each annual MOT;

9.2.5 except as provided in Clause 9.1.7 above delivery to and collection from the point

of service or salvage;

9.2.6 the supply of fuel, and the replacement of bulbs, fuses, top-up oils and anti-freeze

between scheduled services;

9.2.7 call out charges for work not covered by Clause 9.1.7 above.
