Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland’s performance this year has seen the company increase operational efficiency in all areas of its business, including sales and aftermarket. It has also taken responsibility for remarketing used trucks locally, opening two dedicated used truck centres, one at its Glasgow West dealership and another in Teesside – including setting up a full sales and refurbishment operation managed internally.
Christian Coolsaet, Managing Director of Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland, says: “This is a business responsible for the largest geographic territory of any dealer in our network, and the award recognises the fantastic job they are doing to support our customers.
“We’ve seen an exceptional level of performance all year, driven by a highly focused management team and an amazing can-do attitude which is demonstrated in their 11 depots every day, at all levels.”
Neil Park, Managing Director of Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland, says: “I am so proud of what we have achieved together. Winning this award is fantastic recognition for the effort and commitment shown by every single member of the North & Scotland team – and to the customers who trust in us to deliver."
“Naturally, we were up against some very tough competition from across the Volvo Trucks network, but we are absolutely delighted to see our hard work recognised. This is a huge moment for the business and puts us in a fantastic position as we prepare for 2022.”
