At ease in the city

Some trucks are more at home in the city. Take the Volvo FM for example. It’s designed with a low driving position that’s close to the ground. From here, making eye contact with other road users and having control of the areas close to the truck is easier. Choose between electric, gas-powered or diesel.

Planning ahead

With the Volvo Range and Route service for electric vehicles you can plan delivery routes that maximise range and minimise charging stops, increasing delivery efficiency. Drivers can see planned activities connected to their assignments and upload the route to the navigation system.

Steering through streets confidently

With Volvo Dynamic Steering, you can manoeuvre steadily and precisely with less effort. It improves safety and productivity by filtering out bumps, jerks, and twists to take the strain off shoulders. As well as detecting front tyre blowouts and automatically assisting you.

Make it electric

The Volvo FL Electric is designed to meet the strictest municipal regulations and is perfect for door-to-door deliveries and distribution operations. Navigate tight streets and get all the way to the point of delivery with a minimum of noise and zero tailpipe emissions.

In the zone

The Safety Zones service in Volvo Connect combines vehicle positioning with road speed limits information set in specific zones on a map, to automatically restrict the speed of trucks. For extra safety, when a truck enters a speed limit zone the driver won’t be able to accelerate above the speed limit.

Driver support systems

If there’s a certain risk of a collision ahead, Collision Warning with Emergency Brake is there to alert you and apply the brakes if needed. Side Collision Avoidance Support and Door Opening Warning cover both your sides.
