The annual awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the transport sector, showcasing the very best work of the UK and Ireland’s transport and haulage companies.
The prestigious award came in the Sales category and was awarded to Dennison’s as a company who showed a high level of customer care and who took a tailored approach to suit each individual customer.
The judges’ comments recognised Dennison’s excellent sales figures, which demonstrated strong continuous growth. The judges’ comments also noted Dennison’s attention to detail and how they put their customers and staff first.
Rob Ireland Sales Director of Dennison Commercials stated “Winning the Commercial Motor ‘Sales Team of the Year’ is testament to the hard work, professionalism and dedication shown by each member of the team. I believe our Sales Executives seek first to provide the best solution for our customers and are recognised as trusted advisors based on their technical knowledge and ability to recommend the correct product for the required application.”
He added, “Our Sales Executives are superbly assisted by our administration team, driver handover specialist, marketing and business support personnel.”
Rob went on to say, “Dennison’s and Volvo have consistently over the last 6 years had a market share over 30%. We can only achieve that with the help of our loyal customer base and also our award-winning parts and service depots that cover Northern Ireland.”
“We also enjoy a close working relationship with Volvo Trucks UK. It’s imperative that both dealer and market company are aligned to success,” explained Rob, adding, “Volvo Financial Services provide over 40% of our customers with a financial solution and we have over 70% of our customers on Volvo fixed price Maintenance agreements."
Rob concluded, “Winning this award only reinforces my belief that we have one of the best Sales teams in the UK. We have won Volvo Trucks’ ‘Sales Team of the Year’ plus ‘Dealer of the Year’ several times since 2012 so this certainly was a nice way to round off 2018.”
